Guess what?

Mary and I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. That makes 8 books total we have read out loud to each other.
The other seven are:
The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury
Even Cowgirls Get The Blues by Tom Robbins
This Simian World by Clarence Day
The Witches by Roald Dahl
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by JK Rowling
God Bless You Dr. Kevorkian by Kurt Vonnegut
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl

Reading is fun!

Ray Bradbury is my absolute favorite science fiction writer and one of my favorite writers of all time. That copy of Farenheit 451 that we read was a Christmas present from my family last year, and I'm so glad that Elliot and I read it together. Even though we've both read the story before, it was fun to read it again and share it with someone who appreciates it as much as I do.

Ray Bradbury is also one of my favorites. If you like sci-fi you might also like Heinlein (sp?). There is a series of five books called the Gap series that was great!

Believe it or not the Divinci Code is also good aloud and shared.

I just read Ender's Game and I really liked it. I am not sure that I have any sort of desire to read any more Ender's Game stuff right now becasue the story seemed so complete to me.

I have been enjoying the virtual encounter with you thru your blog. Good luck with the adoption process. And congrats to Mary on passing the bar. Not something I do with ease. (lol) Bradbury is one of my favorite authors. I think I have read everything he has written. Except the Kevorkian title. I have read "God bless you, Mr. Rosewater". Farenheit 451 gives me nightmares.

Have a great life
--Pedro--or Pete. Whatever.
