November 11, 12, 13

Nov 11
The usual suspects.

Nov 12
Elise got herself dressed today. Something's missing... hmmm... and something else is on backwards...
Bedtime is story time in our house.
Nov 13
"You call it a what? I don't see any corn OR any dogs!"
Dinner. Notice that Kimani is working on her third ear of corn.

November 8, 9, 10

Nov 8
Clark has absorbed Eric's obsession with Thomas the Tank Engine. He now shouts, "TOMMY!" whenever he sees a train.
Nov 9

Nov 10
They're probably watching Thomas the Tank Engine... they all really like that show.

November 3, 4... And a Bonus Picture

Nov 3
My girls.
Still at the pants-optional phase of life.
Nov 4
Looking like rock stars.
He rock-starred so hard that his glasses almost flew off.
Doesn't need glasses to look cool.
This is our first ever picture with Kimani, taken December 5, 2010.

Halloween, Nov 1 and 2... And a Bonus Picture

Oct 31
They deserve all the candies.
Nov 1
Clark piloting a plastic space ship.
Elise sorting dried pasta in the sink of a play-kitchen.
Nov 2
The kids just watched Elliot and me vote. Never to early to learn about civics!
Now that the adoption is finalized, I can post old pictures of Eric and Kimani. Here is one from December 26, 2010. Elise is sitting in her Aunt Katie's lap and I am holding Eric. This was taken shortly after Eric and Kimani joined our family.

Oct 27 (again), 28, 29, 30

Oct 27
Kids at the pumpkin patch.
Oct 28

Oct 29
All of the kids have gone through a phase where they love mittens. Here's Clark's.
Oct 30
When Clark was a newborn, Elise would always ask to hold "her" baby. Every once in a while, she'll remember back to that time and ask me, "Can I hold my baby?" She's always laughing when she says this now. She knows it's funny  because Clark is literally almost as big as she is.

Oct 25, 26, and 27

Oct 25
Elise is mad that there isn't any more pudding. Not counting the pudding still on her face, that is.
Oct 26
More cuteness!
Oct 27
Not sure why none of the kids have a shirt on in this picture. Honestly, I'm just glad they're all still wearing pants. (Although Elise's pants are clearly in jeopardy.)

Oct 22, 23, 24

Oct 22
Eric and Clark building a train out of blocks. They both love trains.

Elliot took Kimani to the hospital to have her tonsils removed in the morning on Oct 22. I brought the rest of the kids to visit her a few hours after her surgery. Here, Elliot, Elise, and Kimani are watching Kimani's favorite TV show (Yo Gabba Gabba) on Elliot's computer.
Oct 23
Clark sleeping.
Elise enjoying the slide on a bounce house that was set up during her gymnastics class.
Oct 24
They look so much alike!

October 20 and 21: Playground

Oct 20
Not sure why Clark is in this strange and unnatural position. My guess is that Elliot snapped this picture mid-temper tantrum.
Crummy lighting, but that's Elise on a swing.

Oct 21
Back at the playground again the next day. Clark in a baby swing.
Elise on her noble steed.
Kimani spends about 95% of her time on playgrounds in the swings.
