Whatever your faith, this time of year has probably brought you closer (physically or emotionally) to your family. In that spirit, I am sharing a picture of my great-grandmother, my father's mother's mother. Her name was Eliza. We don't know when this picture was taken, but it had to be some time before 1934.

She's beeautiful! I can see the resemblance in her sort-of smile. She looks like she was about to crack up. Probably had the same sense of humor as you.
