| It's finally cold enough for sweaters! But not for pants. That's how it works in Florida-- first the long sleeves and then eventually the long pants. But you can wear flip flops year-round if you want to. I'm pretty sure that's a law. |

| We've spent a lot of time at the vet's office recently. Our cat Applesauce has been sick. Clark decided to make himself at home and rearrange the furniture while we were there on Oct 2nd. |

| Elise fell and hurt her lip. The receptionist at the foster kids' speech therapy office brought her a popsicle. Elise stopped crying instantly. |

| The librarian sings happy birthday to all of the kids with upcoming birthdays every week at story time at the library. We sung Clark's birthday song a few days early, on Sept 26th. He knew it was for him. He loved it! |
