April 11: Baby Story Time
The kids always have so much fun when we go to the library for baby story time. Today Elise brought her big white teddy bear, which she calls "Mama Teddy" (she also has a small white teddy bear that is named "Baby Teddy"):

Today Clark thought it was so funny to roll under my bed. He had a great time playing peekaboo. He also figured out how to play peekaboo with a blanket today-- he would pull the blanket over his head, then yank it down quickly and laugh and laugh.

April 7 and 8: Lots of Parks This Weekend

Happy Easter! One of the things we did with the kids today was go to a park playground.
Clark liked watching the big kids play. Happy 1st Easter, Clark!!!
(I did it! I'm finally caught up on my daily pictures! Yay! An Easter miracle!)

Clark was 28 inches long (95th percentile) and weighed 20 lbs 5 oz (94th percentile) at his 6 month check up:

Clark just loves to fall asleep outside. I know the perfect gift for him when he gets older-- a hammock!

Clark can roll in both directions now (front to back and back to front), so he tumbles around on the floor and grabs toys as he finds them:

Elise is obsessed with this "hurricane" machine in the mall. You're supposed to put in a few bucks and close the door and then the machine blasts 75 mile per hour winds at you. Elise doesn't know about the air part, she just wants to stand inside with the door closed. On this particular day, some lady walked by as I was closing the door behind Elise and gave me a look that clearly said, "I think you are a terrible parent. How dare you." Ugh! I didn't turn it on, lady! Relax!

Clark's shirt says "Don't Be Fooled By My Size." It's supposed to mean something along the lines of "I may look little but I've got a big attitude"... but in Clark's case it seems to mean "I may look like a 12 month old, but really I'm only 5 months old."
