Mary and I recently went to the Bodies Exhibit at the Museum Of Science and Industry in Tampa. What a neat exhibit. I would recomend it to everyone I know who is comfortable with seeing artistic human nudity and real dead humans. To quote their webiste, "To help you see what a body really looks like on the inside, this Exhibition uses real human bodies that have been preserved so they do not decay." Everything is presented in the most tasteful manner possible. I have been educated to understand that science and art used to be closely related. I now have a working understanding of that basic relationship. It was profound and mildly life changing. My experience was greatly enhanced by having two doctor friends acting as improptu docents. Thanks Chris and Jen for coming along with us and answering our questions and even the questions of nosey passers-by.

Elliot and I went to the beach last weekend. We drove 2 hours to get to St. George Island, stayed not quite an hour, and then drove back home. It was hot. We had fun while we were there though, and the trip wasn't completely in vain because we saw some cool marine life:
Don't we look happy? Our hour at the beach was well worth the drive.
