Elise loves feeding herself now and sometimes she won't even eat unless she's in control of the food. Here she is feeding herself a banana on April 22nd:
Elise can go down slides all by herself... so long as she goes down backwards and on her belly. April 23rd:

The fearlessness on the slide is amazing. This would be like me going down a 16 foot slide.
i know! and she climbs the steps on the other side by herself, too. one of the other moms that was there that day saw her doing it all by herself and seemed pretty blown away. Elise LOVES to climb.
