Mary and I just finished reading
Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. It is a great light-action type of half thriller half cyber-punk sort of read. I highly recommend it. We both enjoyed it. This book makes 13 that we have read aloud to each other, mostly while driving.

Yea! I read it when we lived at the Lakes. Great book - some of the references are still good today. Truly a classic of sorts.

"snow crash" IS quite good! i really enjoyed it.
i must admit that i'm a reluctant science-fiction fan-- i enjoy it when i come across it, but i usually dont seek it out. i'm glad that elliot suggested we read this book because i never would have read it on my own.
